(DS9: "Ties of Blood and Water") According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 43) and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), the Cardassian sun, named Cardassia, was a K-class star. According to StarTrek.com, the star's name was Cardassia.
