His interview was postponed in order that Bernard Walmsley could deal with Mr Truman's latest arrest and Adam was intrigued enough by the man when he arrived at the office to take receptionist Trina Robson out for a drink to pump her for information. Hearing of Truman's success in operating without convictions, Adam changed his mind about joining a legitimate firm, or having to work for anyone else and resolved to be his own boss from now onwards.
