  • List of parliamentary constituencies in London 1974-1983
rdfs:comment
  • This is a list of parliamentary constituencies in Greater London from 1974 until 1983. Each borough constituency returned one member of parliament (MP) to the United Kingdom House of Commons. Parliamentary seats in England were redistributed under an order made in November 1970. The new constituency boundaries in London were completely changed to reflect the creation of 32 London boroughs in 1965. Constituencies officially included the name of the borough of which they formed part. Uniquely, the London Borough of Harrow had an identical area to an abolished district (the municipal borough of the same name) and the three constituencies in the borough were unchanged.

The constituencies were first used at the general election of February 1974, and again in October 1974 and 1979. Constituencies were again redrawn prior to the 1983 general election.
