When her daughter was five years old another Jedi arrived on Dathomir; a man named Jekk Srellon. He told the tribe of witches that he was trying to track down a Dark Jedi named Cazzik Wyn. Eryn took the man aside and explained who she was and all about Cazzik's time on Dathomir. Then she introduced him to Jaina. Eryn and Jekk decided that the Jedi Master should take Jaina on his travels and train her. The pair would return to Dathomir numerous times throughout Jaina's training so mother and daughter could visit. Eryn's village was attacked by Nightsisters three days after Jaina and Jekk left for the last time. She was killed in battle by Sira Ves.
