An unarmed model also existed, this was used by civilian transport and freight companies, a passenger transport version also existed, this had seats instead of cargo space. With only two dual laser cannon turrets they had relatively light armament, in order to mount a successful defence they had to either group up to increase firepower or be constantly escorted by better-armed ships, a special corvette variant with heavier arms existed, but was quite rare.
