After a mission to Onderon resulted in the death of Hauk, Setron (or Set as he was called) was told to stay on guard at the Temple as the Knights went to crush the fledgling Sith cult. Six years later, he took and failed the Trials. Although he was offered a chance to try them again, he refused, conversing with Master Hauk's spirit one final time before leaving the Order. Training to master unarmed combat and the Control abilities, he eventually formed a ragtag group of peacekeeping Force-sensitives known as the Veraun Defenders. His death of old age was greatly mourned on the planet he chose to call home. Although he did not see his work at its finest, the Veraun Defenders eventually became a Force tradition that was respected by the Jedi Order, and in both of the Black Knight Conflicts the Veraun Defenders were a welcome sight on the battlefield, as every battle the full host of Defenders fought in was won.
