  • By planting fake Kryptonite on the surface of Mars and letting it be picked up by a Viking I photo, Supergirl and scientists at NASA smoke out a conspirator of Lex Luthor's and get Luthor to show them where a hidden rocket of his was hidden. Luthor escapes, uses the rocket to go to Mars, and tries to steal the "Kryptonite", only to be recaptured by Supergirl.
  • An alien pilot crash-lands on Earth and is adopted briefly by Superbaby as a pet, before he communicates with the Babe of Steel and gets him to repair his spacecraft.
  • Jimmy Olsen helps psychic Nicky Heller when the latter transfers his mental abilities to Jimmy so that he can bring help against crooks who are threatening him.
  • At a time in which Jimmy Olsen is wondering whether waking time or dreamtime is reality, he is thrown into a conflict between gangsters and the hockey star they are attempting to bribe.
  • The Dog of Steel nabs a couple of bank robbers and restores the confidence of a junkyard dog.
  • Lois Lane learns of a plot by the crime organization SKULL to fix wrestling matches.
