| abstract | - Davin Stark was the Commander of the Imperial Security Force from 44 ABY onwards. Born on Corulag into a prominent Imperial-loyal family, Davin and his family fled to Orinda when he was very young after the New Republic captured the world. Davin enlisted in the Imperial military at the age of 18, he began a steady rise through the ranks, Stark proved his worth on Orinda, when his commanding officer was killed during an anti-Empire protest, Davin took command of the disorganised local militia and the few Stormtroopers available to him, he managed to contain the rioting and arrest 23 of the leaders. After the events on Orinda he was promoted to the rank of captain and transferred to the ISF as a peacekeeper on the Imperial capital of Bastion. In 44 ABY a group of anti-Imperial terrorists attempted to assassinate Emperor Soontir Fel, Stark and his ISF Stormtroopers managed successfully to take down the four snipers of the group and disarm a bomb planted in the Emperor's speeder, and when the fifth member of the group attempted to kill Fel with a Thermal Detonator Stark caught the grenade, but it detonated before he could throw it a safe distance away, he sustained serious injuries in the blast and was sent to the EmpPal SuRecon Centre on Coruscant, where his chest was fitted with a specially powered magnet to prevent the shrapnel from the blast reaching his heart, he also recieved a replacement left forearm and several nerves were replaced with cybernetics along his upper arm and chest. For his heroism on Bastion and for saving the Emperor's life in the process, he was awarded the rank of Baron of the Empire by Emperor Fel and was promoted to Commander of the ISF.
