| abstract | - Air Step is a technique that allows the user to find footing in midair. It is an advanced technique derived from the Walk on Water technique. It requires a wind nature in order to use. It was created keeping it's parent technique in mind. The user uses their wind nature to push all the air molecules near their feet together for a very quick moment. The technique does, however, have its limits. The jutsu does not create permanent footing. Rather, it creates footing for only a second or two to allow jumping and dodging in midair. It's B-ranked due to the fact that it sucks up a lot of chakra when condensing the air molecules together. It should be used with caution.
