| abstract | - The Tenjin clan lived in the Land of Lightning prior to the formation of Kumogakure. When it was created the Tenjin were driven out as the First Raikage, A, disapproved heavily of the clan's Thunder Drum and Wind Bag, referring to them as unnatural recreations or corruptions of nature. They became a wandering clan after this and after many years they went to the Land of Whirlpools to join Takegakure. There they established an organization to create powerful techniques. Within the clan itself exists multiple branches, each of which has its own specialization or affinity, it's not uncommon to leave one branch to go to another due to one's decisions or difference.
