It was written by Franz Henkel, based on the original screenplay by Jim and John Thomas. Each issue was created by a different team — issue #1 was illustrated by Dan Barry, inked by Randy Emberlin, colored by Lurene Haines and lettered by Gail Beckett; issue #2 was illustrated by Mark Bright, inked by Emberlin, colored by Monika Livingston and lettered by Mike Heisler. The series was edited by Randy Stradley, and used still images from the film for its cover art.
