  • Renegade-class Star Cruiser Mark M
rdfs:comment
  • Although originally based off of the Dreadnaught-class Heavy Cruiser design, the Renegade-class Star Cruiser is modified sufficiently to count as its own ship. The vessel contains two Dreadnaught hulls, a middle section for extra troops and fighters in between them, and a forward section with heavy-duty computers. Also, automation brings down the crew size to something near respectability. This is a heavy-duty warship, and as such is fairly expensive. A new version of the Renegade-class has also been developed, the Mark M.

abstract
  • Although originally based off of the Dreadnaught-class Heavy Cruiser design, the Renegade-class Star Cruiser is modified sufficiently to count as its own ship. The vessel contains two Dreadnaught hulls, a middle section for extra troops and fighters in between them, and a forward section with heavy-duty computers. Also, automation brings down the crew size to something near respectability. The Renegade is designed to be excellent against fighters, but with its general purpose warhead launchers and computer-assisted turbolasers, these 10-winged, 28-engines ships, each substantially bigger than a VSD, are also devastating against any sort of target at long range. In order to boost the maneuverability, maneuvering jets were installed on the ten wings. This is a heavy-duty warship, and as such is fairly expensive. A new version of the Renegade-class has also been developed, the Mark M. The Renegade-class Mark M was the first venture into what would become the Muir Core Values. Other than the prototype, none of this class were made.
