This was when he'd develop his legendary habit of disloyalty - selling out his gang to a smaller, bloodthirsty one for a better position and more money. This was a procedure he'd repeat numerous times in the future. Eventually, his prowess as dealing with difficult problems gifted him a job in the Corporate Sector Authority. Bereft of any sense of loyalty as ever, he used his new seat of power to gather information about an ancient artifact that could resurrect the dead. He set his sights high. The Emperor. It was only through the joint efforts of several groups, including XII and Oremin, that he was stopped and the artifact destroyed. Presumed dead, the groups left... but Demov's use of the artifact had left him ripe for resurrection, and soon he found himself alive again, and thirsty for revenge...
