Synopsis
  • Air Patrol
  • Dick Storm
  • Night after night bandits continue to assault the police. Bob Phantom believes the cops are being snatched for their uniforms — and he's correct. The mobsters plan to do a bank heist in police uniforms. When Walt reports in his newspaper column about the gangster's plan, he is kidnapped himself and put inside a cement wall. Will he be able to escape to thwart the crooks?
  • A crooked Mayor wants to get re-elected and is sending out thugs to shoot anyone who gives him bad press. A 12-year old boy witness one of these shootings and fights one of the gun men. The Wizard intervenes and takes the orphaned boy under his care. Both team up and continue to hunt down the thugs who want to stop the presses from printing the truth about shady politics. The boy becomes the Wizard's sidekick — Roy the Super-boy.
  • Kardak, Lorna and Balthar, the giant boy who was rescued last issue, are on their way to the "Land of the Master Brahmins" on a flying carpet. But in order to reach their destination, they must pass many deadly obstacles in the "Valley of the Dead."
  • Harley Hudson, a biochemist, discovers a secret which enables him to imitate the muscular strength of insects. When he applies for a job as a chemist's assistant, he soon realizes that he's only a guinea pig for Dr. Dread's evil experiments. After confronting the doctor's monster, he rescues another "subject," Joan Burton, who later becomes his girlfriend and confidant.
