- The Remorseless is a legendary mighty weapon for the Barbarian in Diablo III. It requires character level 70 to drop, and originally only dropped during the Season One for Seasonal characters. After the end of the Season One, it drops for normal characters as well. The unique affix check triggers only once per cast (even if it did not hit anything). If successful, it summons one random Ancient, but these Ancients are on separate counter, and do not benefit from runes and enhancements of the actual skill. The maximum number of Ancients to be summoned by this weapon is 3: when all 3 are active, new ones will not be summoned. The effect has no cooldown. With this is mind, it is possible to have 6 Ancients at the same time: 3 from the Call of the Ancients skill and 3 from the Remorseless proc.
