Drapeznik pilots used its blades to great effect in battles involving the Zayre, although sometimes flesh would clog up the rotors and cause the Drapeznik to crash. In terms of armament, the Drapeznik was formidable. It could easily tear apart ground vehicles its missiles, which were usually tipped with very-low yield tactical nuclear warheads, and could chew up infantry its powerful but inaccurate machineguns. However, its air defense was poor, and despite flare countermeasures which were often installed upon it, the Drapeznik was considered an easy target by pilots of craft such as the Necasian DarkBird-class attack fighter.
