rdfs:comment
  • Misty W. Dreamweaver Jr. is typically only spoken as her name just to differentiate her from her own mother, as both of them share the first name of Misty. She appears as a hinted at role in Truth and Ideals as the strongest user of Heartsoul Amplification, but eventually becomes a major character in the story beginning with Chapter 31: Entry to Nimbasa City. She becomes Ash's first major love interest alongside Iris sharing the role with her. Notably, though, is that compared to Ash, both he and Iris were pleasantly surprised to learn that Misty was actually happier with Iris with them, as she herself was actually bisexual. As a result, she approves of Iris being in their relationship immensely.

desc
  • Misty's only known Legendary Pokémon under her possession; originally the cause of her parent's demise, Misty eventually decided to conquer her fears of this Pokémon and sought it out underneath the sea basin and caught it after a tough fight. As a direct result, Groudon is caught by Aldith in response to this. While a powerful Legendary Pokémon, Misty uses heavily charged Heartsoul Amplification to absorb power from Kyogre to prevent Kyogre from causing absolute destruction around itself; as a result, her draining power from Kyogre to prevent it from causing destruction wherever it goes is how and why Misty is the strongest user of Heartsoul Amplification.
  • Misty's first known Pokémon to appear in the story; a Shiny, male Gyarados which she had inherited from Lance once she was deemed strong enough to raise it as her own. Gyarados was originally the result of the Lake of Rage Incident back in Johto during an emergency attempt to acquire strong Pokémon too quickly to replenish Team Rocket's stock. When the projected was thwarted, Lance had caught Gyarados and gave him to Misty when she was older and more stronger. Due to how long ago the Lake of Rage incident was, by the time he appears in Truth and Ideals, he is a very old Gyarados and thus doesn't fight as powerfully as he had used to.
