  • Malcolm Hebden (born 21st December, 1939 in Burnley) is a British actor most famous for his role on Coronation Street as nosey newsagent Norris Cole, a part he played intermittently between 1994 and 1997, before coming back to the programme as a permanent character in 1999, where he remains to this day. Malcolm also appeared on the Street from 1974 to 1975 as Spaniard Carlos, a love interest of Mavis Riley. Between these two roles he also appeared in the Street spin-off The Brothers McGregor. His other credits include Juliet Bravo, A Bit of a Do and Last of the Summer Wine.
