In 2000, Trotta lent his voice to the video game Diablo 2 (with Paul Eiding, Brian George, Frank Gorshin, Castulo Guerra, and Nina Minton), then again for the Diablo franchise, Trotta had a voice role in "Lord of Destruction" (2001, with Michael Bell). 2001 also saw Trotta appearing in the thriller Soulkeeper (with Brad Dourif and Tommy "Tiny" Lister, Jr.).
