  • Bernice Hansen (1925 - 2008) was a voice artist who did a number of female character voices for Warner Bros. cartoons in the 1930s and early-1940s. She also did male characters that required squeaky voices. Hansen is often credited with voicing the mouse called Sniffles, although some researchers consider Gay Seabrook to be the voice of the character , as does Turner Classic Movies, which most often airs the Sniffles cartoons in America. She was also one of the voices of Andy Panda. Hansen died of kidney disease in her home. She was 83.

She was also one of the voices of Andy Panda. Hansen, like all the Warner voice artists (except Mel Blanc) received no on-screen credits in the cartoons, and with several of the 1930s female voices (Hansen, Seabrook and Sara Berner ) apparently having a similar sound, research on the matter has proven challenging. Hansen died of kidney disease in her home. She was 83.
