Characters and references to events from the first series would also appear in Aliens vs. Predator: Duel and Aliens vs. Predator: Blood Time. In the Aliens vs. Predator comics line, Aliens vs. Predator was preceded by Aliens vs. Predator (1989 short story), and was followed by Aliens vs. Predator (1991 short story).
