In Transformers: Unite, the Autobots and Maximals join forces to battle their arch fires, the Decepticons and Predacons. However, the war takes a turn when the giant Transformer, Unicron, returns to seek vengeance. The film was released worldwide in theatres on May 11, 2005 and received negative reviews from critics. It grossed $189 million worldwide. The film proved to be very successful with kids in both North America and Japan
