Marishka was told by Verona, one of Dracula's two Brides, to finish Van Helsing while the Vampires attacked the village looking for Anna. Marishka eagerly agreed and flew to attack Van Helsing, and was shot with multiple silver arrows that failed to strike her in the heart. Marishka appeared on the roof of a home, her wounds healing as she hissed at Van Helsing. When Carl, Van Helsing's close "sidekick", alerted him of a small fountain of Holy Water by the church in the village, Marishka smiled and hissed before she leap from the roof and rammed into Van Helsing, and repeatedly knocked him and tossed him into walls-only to bring Van Helsing closer to his crossbow, which he needed to finish her off. Carl alerted Van Helsing of Marishka as she flew toward him, and Van Helsing ran to the fountain of Holy Water, dipped in the bow end of the crossbow, turned around, and fired the crossbow. The silver, Holy-Water wet arrows shot into Marishka as she flew above Van Helsing, rammed her into the roof of a village home, and she gasped and screamed while she disintegrated into ashes, and her bones clattered onto the ground. That killed her, and Marishka was not seen again, but only mentioned for the rest of the film.

Carl, Helsing's sidekick, throws a bottle of holy water to him, but Verona grabs it and flings it into a well. Carl then alerts him to a fountain of holy water, and as he ran to it, Marishka changed into bat form and rammed into him, knocking him down. However, this brought him to his bow and arrow, which he grabbed and ran to the fountain as Marishka chased him. As she was about to reach him, he dipped to bow into the fountain and shot her several times, causing her to crash into the roof of a house, and she turned to bone that clattered to the ground. The two other vampires sensed her death and flew away. They later mourned her death.
