Synopsis
  • In Dherain, Steppenwolf meets with that country's King Marov, who takes a great risk in harbouring him, given that the World Army is vigilantly searching for the man who nearly destroyed the planet, and killed the Seven Wonders. Fortunately, the World Army can do nothing, thanks to the treaties that were signed with Dherain, allowing it to close its doors after the war. However, King Marov has secretly ordered his men to be prepared to attack Steppenwolf. He hopes to gain what technologically advanced weaponry he can from his guest, and then turn him over to the World Army. Unfortunately, Steppenwolf is wise to the plan, and though it may appear that he is without allies on this world, he has one remaining: Fury, Wonder Woman's own daughter. Together, the two of them cripple King Marov's forces, despite the use of Apokoliptian technology against them, eventually killing Marov himself. That done, Steppenwolf takes the throne of Dherain for himself, with plans to conquer the whole planet.
