However, turbolasers from Grizzor's bombardment of the surface facilities caused quakes which allowed Darkon to close on the operative. Darkon and the operative fought each other, using Electrostaffs and lightsabers respectively, until Darkon finally killed the Black Sun Operative. He took the Black Sun Operative's stolen lightsabers as his own and got Allison and Mezo to evac.
