  • A more unusual member of the Marine Terrarium, the graceful, plant-like Nudibranch was referred to as the 'Twisting Dancer of the Seas' by some shee. It floats around the underwater cavern looking for food, and is completely harmless to creatures. At the beginning of the game, several nudibranches are present in the left side of the Marine Terrarium. They do not lay eggs, but rather die (with a humming noise which is startling if unexpected) and respawn every now and then.
  • Nudibranchs are exotic pets featured in the episode "A Pal for Gary" and the online game Gary's Revenge. They are sold at a streetside stand by a gypsy. However, they have not appeared in any episode besides this one and they look nothing like nudibranchs in real life, which look like sea slugs. Nudibranchs are hostile around other pets, especially snails.
  • A nudibranch was a type of edible sea slug from Dac.
  • Entering into the wide, wonderful world of nudibranchs is a simple task, especially considering the innumerable life benefits it can have. One can become a trainer, a fierce battler, a breeder, or enter his nudibranchs in beauty pageants. One must first, however, meet several important conditions: * Be a people person, as many parts of this life require social skills. * Be a nudibranch person, as many parts of this life require nudibranchs. * Be able to breathe underwater, or at least have a scuba license.
  • In Final Fantasy XIII-2, nudibranches are proficient as Medics or Commandos. Their HP and Strength stats are rather low, while Magic is decently high, making their Commando brethren rather unusual. Both possess the rare Drain Attack ability in place of ordinary physical attacks, allowing them to drain HP from their targets to refill their own. Nudibranches have one of two Feral Links. Slurp does physical damage; the Caterchipillar's version also casts Fog and Pain, while the Sarracenia and Crawler's version casts Deprotect. Explosive Thrust is a physical attack that drains HP.

The Crawler and the Caterchipillar are more simple in form, but the other nudibranches have broad leaf-like appendages on their heads that hint at a fusion of the animal and vegetable kingdoms. The appearance of the Alraune, Exoray and Rafflesia among the nudibranches confirms this is the concept behind them; these recurring enemies have always been humanoid plants, man-eating plants, or fungi (which have characteristics of both animals and plants) or something of the sort.

Those who meet these conditions are ready to go. Those who do not should go back to college or step back into that moving van and hurry home to the sketchy town they came from.
