  • The Anastas Medal of Achievement was an award given to members of the United Federation of Planets. Created on Stardate 2/5001 by Starfleet Command, it was named after the first female starship captain and was awarded to a female officer of executive command rank or higher to those who had demonstrated superior skill as well as expertise when facing extreme hazard. It took the appearance of a platinum disk which showed the principal representatives of the Federation with their hands joined. Written underneath the gold was the inscription "Achieve Together". It hanged from an aquamarine ribbon.

It hanged from an aquamarine ribbon. Commander Ellen Childs who was an assistant executive officer on the USS Berlin was the most recent recipient of this medal. Commander Childs recieved it on Stardate 3/2007.08 for her expertise and control of a hazardrous ship to ship situation against the Ferengi when her superiors were absent at the time.
