| abstract | - The Ketsu Weapon: Ketsu Armor is one of the fifteen Ketsu Weapons granted to the user by the Senchūgan. It is a mid-level Ketsu Weapon, requiring some training to acquire. It is also special due to the fact that it is not physical in any way, in actuallity it's a defensive jutsu. After activating the Senchūgan and weaving the needed hand seals, the user transmit chakra to almost every bone in their body as well as sending extra chakra to the skin. The chakra gives an extra boost to the endurance of these body parts as well as encases them with the ability to soften any blows coming their way. This extra chakra becomes an "armor" that gives the user prolonged toleration to attacks, and it becomes stronger as the Senchūgan grows and more chakra is put into it. However, this jutsu only meant to soften blunt attacks. Attacks from slicing and stabbing weapons and ninjutsu deal normal damage to the user. The chakra can also be "broken" if too much damage is incurred or the tenketsu in the body is interrupted by various ways. Plus, the jutsu does not heal, so using it on injured body parts will only prolong time to heal. Also, unlike the other Ketsu Weapons, this jutsu is unable to be augmented by any of the five normal chakra natures. This makes it a little less useful than the other jutsu in the Ketsu Weapon class.
