  • Point Inside is a mobile technology company focused on providing in-store solutions for brick-and-mortar retailers. It is based just outside of Seattle in Bellevue, Washington. The privately held company was founded in 2009 by Josh Marti, Jon Croy and Brian Wilson. Point Inside is a mobile shopper engagement platform that uses multiple indoor location technologies to provide retailers with micro-location marketing and private [[ad network]] capabilities. Retailers and brands use the platform to increase sales, profits and customer loyalty by giving shoppers a real-time, in-store connection that saves them time and money. Services are offered through retailers' branded mobile apps and channels on a multi-tenant platform as a service (Paas) architecture. Shopper-facing services include finding exact product locations, efficient routes through stores and delivery of personalized deals and offers. One example of Point Inside’s technology is in the Meijer Find-it application which was developed on behalf of Meijer. The app is available for iPhone, iPad, iTouch and Android devices and is a free download via the iTunes App Store or Google Play. The app includes a store map of every Meijer store, shopping list, mPerks coupons and sale items. Stores labeled with a Find-it icon also include product mapping and the ability to order your shopping list for the most efficient route through the store. Other customers include: Meijer, General Growth Properties, United Airlines, and Kraft among others. The company has also developed its own mobile application called Point Inside Shopping and Travel available for iPhone, iPad, iTouch and Android devices. It is a free download via the iTunes App Store or Google Play. The app includes directories and interactive indoor maps of over 1,250 shopping malls across North America, other 100 airports worldwide and dozens of other attractions including theme parks and museums. Other features include deals and offers from national and local retailers, in-venue navigation with routing, complete listing of services and store and shop directory information.
