| abstract | - Daniel Clarkson is an actor, writer and presenter perhaps best known as half of "Dan & Jeff" (presenting from CBBC's broom cupboard between 2008 and 2010) along with Jeff Turner. As a pair they have written and performed three family orientated stage shows, including Potted Potter which achieved four sell-out Edinburgh Festivals and three sell-out West End seasons, and Potted Panto whose six-week Christmas run at the Vaudeville Theatre in London was nominated for "Best Entertainment" at the 2011 Olivier awards. In Coronation Street he played George, a concierge at The Bowdon Hotel where Leanne Battersby met up with one of her clients during her time as an escort in March 2007. Other credits include The Unusual Children, Emmerdale, Nuts TV and as a Comic Storyteller on four episodes of Blue Peter.
