| abstract | - Little is known of the mysterious city of Xuthal. It is located in the southern desert, between Kush and the Black Kingdoms. No known political power claims it as their territory. Xuthal at first appears to be an abandoned city, for its populance live bizzare lives by the standards of outsiders. Its people are almost perpetually emeshed in their hallucinagenic dreams brought on by the Black Lotus wine. Immersed in lives of fantasy and confusion, an outsider might think them quite mad. The Black Lotus wine that they drink is the most powerful alchemical formula in Xuthal, but it is not the only strange concoction in the city. The Golden Wine of Xuthal, made of a strange type of golden apples, can heal wounds and restore energy to drinkers.
