  • The Sockops are green sock-like creatures that inhabit Dimble Wood. They are able to hop through patches of thorns. They are able to create a yellow goo inside there hole. They use this hole as a mouth as well, as they suck on objects to eat them with it. When an enemy touches the goo they may become poisoned.
  • Sockops are enemies from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story that are located in Dimble Wood. If Mario or Luigi jump into them, they will lose HP and possibly will get poisoned. They will have to press the A or B button repeatedly in order to escape. They attack by trying to ram into Mario and/or Luigi, but most frequently only do one of them. If they have honey coming out of them when they are preparing to attack, they will attack one of the Bros. and then run out of the screen and attack the other one from behind.

Their leader is a huge Sockop that can be shrunk down when knocked out. When a Sockop is knocked out they can be worn as an actual sock to help Mario or Luigi hop on thorns as well. When provoked a Sockop may shoot yellow orbs that contain the poisonous goo but it will not poison Mario or Luigi.

If they have honey coming out of them when they are preparing to attack, they will attack one of the Bros. and then run out of the screen and attack the other one from behind. Later in the game, Mario got kidnapped by Sockops and Luigi must save him from them and will get stuck in a Sockop. While Luigi is stuck in the Sockop, he can talk to them and will not be able to fight them. He can walk across the bramble patches while inside of the Sockop without hurting himself. There is a Sockop called Giant Sockop in the game where he shrinks down in size after Luigi repeatedly whacks his stomach with his hammer in order to save Mario from being digested.
