A NIOSI committee, the Vector Thirteen, would begin an investigation of the Beryl-Sherwood Encounter ("Mag Mell Incident") on Beryl, and would issue a formal set of recommendations to the Arcturus Committee as to how to appropriately respond to the Encounter. While it was immediately disbanded in the wake of the devastating Beyond Veil's Azure Crisis, NIOSI was soon reactivated during renewed, forbidden UNSC interests in Forerunner and paranormal circumstances during the Galactic Era.
