Mike Veon and the Harrisburg commute ("Getting Legislators to Work Is Costly," July 30): It took a while, but the bus routes from the suburbs to Downtown are in place and serving us well. Sooooo -- let the PG's Joe Grata and AAA map a route from Pittsburgh to Harrisburg for a bus with a few parking fields along the way. The legislators can take that. Perks? Forty-five cents per mile to the park-n-ride from home. Perhaps we can offer a can of soda and some chips. If our legislators spill it on themselves, they pay the dry cleaner, not us.
