  • CERT-UK was the national Computer Emergency Response Team in the UK. It was announced in the 2012 report on the 2011 Cyber Security Strategy. After a delay, it was publicly launched on 31 March 2014. CERT-UK coordinated the management of national cyber security incidents and acted as the UK central contact point for international counterparts in this field. It had 4 main responsibilities that flow from the UK Cyber Security Strategy: CERT-UK closed in October 2016. Its functions were transferred to the National Cyber Security Centre.
