- En la edición del 30 de junio de RAW, el Presidente de la WWE II Mr. McMahon creó el Deuces Wild Tournament con el fin de coronar a los nuevos campeones del Campeonato Mundial por Parejas. Ocho equipos bien establecidos competirán en cuatro combates durante las grabaciones de RAW por una plaza para el torneo principal, el cuál tendrá lugar en el evento PPV End of Days, el cual tendrá lugar el 20 de julio de 2008. Cuatro equipos más serán formados esa misma noche; éstos serán escogidos de manera aleatoria de los 'Egotistical Eight', lo cuál fue anunciado el 7 de julio de 2008. El campeonato seguirá entonces el formato normal de combates por parejas.
- The Deuces Wild Tag Team Tournament was a professional wrestling single-elimination tournament held by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion during the months of April and May 2008 for the vacant TNA World Tag Team Championship. It took place on TNA's television program TNA Impact! and at their Sacrifice PPV event on May 11, 2008. It was announced on the April 24, 2008 episode of Impact! by Management Director Jim Cornette. It involved twelve teams overall.
