  • Seismosaurus Halli is one of the longest sauropods known. It was a huge sauropod and also a herbivore. It lived in the late Jurassic period, approximately 150 mya. Its enormous size made it almost invincible to Jurassic predators, and the whip tail could be swung with such force at a predator that it would probably crack the predator's ribcage. The only way Seismosaurus halli would have been eaten would be if its carcasses were scavenged (see Prey section). They normally traveled in herds.
