A regional magazine, abOUT was founded in Buffalo, New York, in late 2003 by four partners, including veteran Canadian journalist Duane Booth. The first edition of the magazine was released on January 19, 2004. In 2006, Booth became majority shareholder when he acquired the shares of two of the business partners, and the magazine's operations were fully moved to Toronto at the same time. The magazine continued in print until February 2010, when it was changed to an online-only publication. abOUT covered LGBT-related news and culture. Published 10 times a year with a monthly circulation of 20,000, the magazine is distributed as a free publication throughout Southern Ontario, most prominently in Toronto as well as Hamilton, London and Canada's Niagara Region. The magazine is also extensively distributed in Western New York including Buffalo, Rochester, Jamestown and Syracuse. - The World Ends with You, known in Japan as It's a Wonderful World (すばらしきこのせかい Subarashiki Kono Sekai) is an action RPG for the Nintendo DS video game handheld. It was developed by the Kingdom Hearts team, Square Enix, and Jupiter. The character designs are by Tetsuya Nomura and Gen Kobayashi. The distinctive art style is inspired by the aesthetics of Shibuya youth culture. The game has sold 43,000 copies in the US during the first week and a half since its release (April 22, 2008 through May 3, 2008) (see Official NPD Data for April 2008). Note that other data sources report sales numbers twice higher (e.g., see VGChartz), but they are not believed to be reliable. Please add sales data for Japan and EU, only if you can link them to a reliable source (e.g., Square Enix, NPD, etc.). The game's music in particular has been well-received and was released over two albums: The World Ends with You Original Soundtrack and Subarashiki Kono Sekai + The World Ends with You.

- Sawfish is an extensible window manager using a Lisp-based scripting language called Librep -- all window decorations are configurable and all user-interface policy is controlled through the extension language. This is no layer on top of twm, but a wholly new architecture. Despite this extensibility its policy is very minimal compared to most window managers. Its aim is simply to manage windows in the most flexible and attractive manner possible. As such it does not implement desktop backgrounds, applications docks, or other things that may be achieved through separate applications. All high-level wm functions are implemented in Lisp for future extensibility or redefinition. Currently this includes menus (using GTK+), interactive window moving and resizing, virtual workspaces, iconification, focus/transient window policies, frame theme definitions, and many more standard window-manager functions. User-configuration is possible either by writing Lisp code in a personal .sawfishrc file, or through the integrated customization system (using GTK+, see the third and fourth screenshots on the screenshots page). If you're wondering why there are many references to something called sawmill, that's because sawfish was originally known by that name, but had to change. See History.

- Heroes of Rokugan, also known as Champions of the Sapphire Throne (and formerly as "Living Rokugan") is an ongoing role-playing campaign using the Legend of the Five Rings role-playing game published by Alderac Entertainment Group. You will be able to play your characters in any HoR event that runs anywhere in the world, gaining more experience, honor, glory, and status, and helping to shape the fate of the Emerald Empire. Almost all HoR events take place at conventions, game-days, or home play. There are a limited number online games as well, usually run through an instant messanger program. If you are interested in online events, we strongly recommend that you join the HoR Yahoo Group as that is where most of the organization for such events takes place.
