Terry follows the Barlow supporters around, putting Alf's election leaflets in the houses after them. Alf takes Sally on at the shop. She is thrilled at the work but upset that she's having to let Deirdre down. Deirdre understands though. Percy is annoyed when his dancers feel that Sam Tindall is a better teacher and he is challenged for the leadership.
