The first international channel launched in late 2014, and since then, quickly became more popular and more countries wanted it. In 2015, AnimeNation launched a dubbing facility for dubbing anime/media properties in multiple languages. In 2016, non-Viacom channels launching will have the name AnimeNation. It was announced in 2016 that the global headquarters will move from Osaka, Japan to Lille, France. The Japanese headquarters will stay in Chiyoda, Tokyo.
