| abstract | - Harold "Wex" Wexler was a detective with the Denver Police Department in the mid-1990s, and the partner of Ray St. Louis. In the middle of February in 1996, he and his partner notified Jack McEvoy of his brother's death, and the three notified Jack's sister-in-law. A few weeks later Wexler was approached by Jack who wanted to see the file on the Theresa Lofton murder. After much hesitation, Wexler allowed Jack to review the file in the office for only one hour. Harold was later convinced by Jack that Sean's death was not a suicide, but a murder that was carefully staged to look like a suicide.
