abstract
  • The New Klingons, known as thllngnan chu' in the Klingon language, were a group in Klingon society. These people were known for their more peaceful ideals and calmer natures that conflicted with the warrior ways of the Empire at the time especially due to the tense relations between the Klingon leaders and the United Federation of Planets. Unfortunately, this made them a minority within the Empire and they were slowly being purged from society. In 2286, the Empire used an elaborate ruse to trick James T. Kirk into believing that he was sent a hundred years into the future where the New Klingons reformed the Empire and brought a new era of peace between the Federation and Empire, as prophesied by the Organians. (TOS novel: Timetrap)
