  • The Fire Release: Grand Fire Dragon Flame Missile (Katon: Gokaryu Endan) is considered a downgraded version of the Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Missile (Katon: Karyu Endan) technique because while it requires the same chakra output and control, it is only half as powerful as the original, and does not attack from three sides (front, left, and right) like its predecessor.

abstract
  • The Fire Release: Grand Fire Dragon Flame Missile (Katon: Gokaryu Endan) is considered a downgraded version of the Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Missile (Katon: Karyu Endan) technique because while it requires the same chakra output and control, it is only half as powerful as the original, and does not attack from three sides (front, left, and right) like its predecessor. Instead of launching three flaming dragons like the Karyu Endan, this technique instead launches one. Power and coverage are sacrificed to give the dragon-based projectile a more definite shape, making it look like an oriental Japanese dragon born of flames. Its underbelley is yellow, the scales red, and the antlers, whiskers, and eyes a stark white. This technique was mainly created for the user to garner attention from potential future clients, since drawing attention to themselves with such a detailed technique would make them more likely to be requested for future occastions. While this technique is only a half/third as powerful as the Karyu Endan, the psychological effects it can have on watching enemies (that are not about to get hit) is considered invaluable in a fight of attrition, since such a technique would weaken their will considerably.
