Likewise, a paralleling construct appears on the left side of the puppet, however, it appears to focus more on enhancing Esshū's control over the offensive side of the puppet. To connect both of these opposing sides is a thick white band of metal, which also allows Esshū to maintain the flexibility of the puppet and give him a significant amount of protection. Due to the very bulky nature of the puppet, he employs fūinjutsu to seal it into an average sword he holds until the time is necessary for him to wield the puppet. Ryōzeki is remarked to be a puppet that most opponents don't know how to deal with, simply because the range in which it is used makes it extraordinarily difficult for opponents of a lower caliber — even those experienced with fighting puppets — to fend off. Nevertheless, the intricacy of the puppet's design and its rather demanding manipulation by way of chakra threads makes it difficult for Esshū to perfectly control the puppet as well.
