Naturally, Shui was taken in and given his "name". Since then, Karce has taken care of Shui as his own son. Only recently did the Bey's reveal to Shui that he is actually not theirs. As you can imagine, this caused great turmoil in Shui's soul. It is estimated that Roel was killed during The Great Purge, sometime after he sent Cale(Shui) off with his mother. It is unknown why Shui was given to Karce, but some might think that his mother was having troubles and decided it was best. Now, Shui, after saying his goodbyes to his foster family, flies to Yavin 8 to hopefully be accepted in training.Family
Shui very much loves his foster family, as they are the only ones he has ever known. He does however wish to see his real father someday, and hopes to one day meet him.
