- Lagode made his decision. He pulled out small pouch, pulled on the string, and threw it into the hallway. I heard a shout, then silence. I looked into the hall, and was met with the sight of a murky gas filling the hallway, and three men knocked out cold lying on the floor. I wrinkled my nose, the smell was oddly familiar.
"Lagode..."
- They halted as the ground trembled and a tremendous roar echoed throughout the valley. It was coming.
- Chernobog grinned, his rotting fangs reeking of human blood. "We were a captain in what thou callest the God Wars. Zamorak himself taughteth us this most useful magick. Thou might callest it mind control. When one is weak-minded, their mind shalt be clouded by shadow."
- Alas, our tale begins on a very dark night in the middle of Wintumber. In the small town of Lumbridge, not a thing moved as it snowed heavily outside. Inside the castle, the Duke of Lumbridge ate with his royal guests and discussed trivial issues such as the goblins across the River Lum. Outside, a few guards lit fires in the courtyard, should any hardy adventurers get lost on their way to Lumbridge. Erected in the courtyard was a large wintumber tree that shook ferociously with the wind. Louis sat in front of a fire, warming his gloved hands in the heat. He looked up and saw the guardsmen on the towers shouting. Louis stood up, trying to hear them, but their voices could not be heard over the huge winds. He climbed up the ladders and asked what they had said. The guard did not say anything, but instead pointed to the north-west. Louis did not see anything, but he could tell something was coming.
- As the adventurer explored the tunnels carefully, he came to a large room, filled with explosive materials. As he knew what was going on, he had to, somehow, stop the plan from happening, but will it be as easy as he thought?
