rdfs:comment
  • The Malaya Command came under attack in December 1941 when Japan entered World War II. The campaign for Malaya got off to a rocky start with the sinking of HMS Repulse and HMS Prince of Wales, capital ships. The situation on land was no better as the Japanese Army rapidly pushed them down the Malayan peninsula and into Singapore. They surrendered not long afterwards.
