| abstract | - In November of 2153, Enterprise NX-01 came to the aid of a Triannon vessel that appeared to have been disabled by the spatial anomalies present in the Delphic Expanse. In reality, the crew had faked their distress call in order to capture the Earth Starfleet ship which they intended to use to end a religious war on their homeworld. They were eventually thwarted by the crew of Enterprise. (ENT: "Chosen Realm") Five ships of this class appeared in the episode, one under the command of Pri'Nam D'Jamat and four of Ceris. In the final draft script of "Chosen Realm", this type of ship was initially twice described as "small" before a fuller scene description referred to D'Jamat's ship as "a good deal smaller than Enterprise, space-worn and battered." The script additionally specified that the other Triannon craft were to be "identical in configuration to D'Jamat's ship." The design of this starship was created by John Eaves, who inked four different concepts for this ship in early October 2003 . One of the sketches later became the Denobulan shuttle seen in the episode "The Augments" . [1]
