  • "..." Tossing and turning that night, dreaming of things to come and the adventures that had affected him so far, a figure who had white and smooth skin that gave him the appearance of being constructed of porcelain, child-like features, and short brown hair with a small clump of hair down the middle and white hairclips on each side, in addition to wide magenta within blue eyes clutched onto a pillow, suddenly reminicing about a certain incident that was before then, blocked from his mind. "G-Gah..." "Gai...Are you okay, honey? You seem restless." These gentle words served to sooth Gai's soul, though for some strange reason, they seemed somewhat different- the tone that released this sentance was unusually uncannily similar to another. "A porcelain doll is the mirror reflecting the image of a humanoid. The awakening is the sword that allows the doll to access its true power. That is the meaning of a Mototsu, O ultimate one." While Gai weakly attempted to open his eyes, the words of the Soul King -the creator of the Mototsu race- resounded through his mind. While the Mototsu began to wake from his hazy state, the figure close to him, whose features were obsured, ran their fingers along Gai's bare chest, remarking to themselves while blushing profusely, "His delicate and beautiful skin...it's so white and smooth; almost like ceramic in its pureness- it's as if I could shatter him into a million pieces just by a mere touch; like a flower made of silk. Gai...No, my Gai Nagareboshi is the possessor of an otherworldly beauty- one beyond any other. And soon...Once I remove the obstacle keeping us together, we will no longer need any other being- they're mere insignificant specks. Such fools don't deserve to be in your immediate vicinity. You're far too precious for interaction with those scum. From that time, it will be just us, together for all of eternity." This figure smiled to themselves serenely while these terrifying thoughts ran through their head, enthralled by the Mototsu's highly feminine body and fey beauty. However, this person had always been head-over-heels in love with Gai Nagareboshi- ever since five thousand years ago, such an attraction has carried on through eons. Slowly moving the joints of his body in exhaustion, Gai streched his arms out, letting out a mighty roar that was resiminent of the cry of the king of birds. Slowly opening his droopy, stunning magenta within blue eyes that sparkled brilliantly, the first action that Gai took was to leap back in utter surprise, somewhat shocked at the person in front of him. The moment that the Mototsu inched back in slight terror, the figure thought, "But for now...Sending her to a place that she can't interfere will have to do." Even though Gai Nagareboshi's eyes widened in fear, unable to comprehend how this person broke in and snuck into his bed, the being could not take their eyes off him- like a stalker obsessed by his overall divine figure. "Y-Yuuki...!?" Gai exclaimed in shock, clutching the pillow that his head was resting upon, trembling slightly at the sight of this person, who was a androgynous, effiminate, and slender male, whose features are almost completely feminine in appearance. They also had wide hips and long legs. Yuuki's eyes were large and droopy, and he has heterochromia; that is to say, his left eye was blue and his right was red. There was a facial marking like a red bolt of lightning trailing down his cheek from his left eye. His blonde-colored hair reached down to his ankles, and the front part of his hair was cut straight in a bob stroke. Yuuki wore an elegant and ornate decorated kimono, and black high-heeled stiletto boots. Upon the sight of Yuuki, Gai Nagareboshi inched back further, continuing, "H-How did you get in here? The doors and windows were-" At that moment, Yuuki held up his right arm, revealing it to have several glass shards embedded into it as blood oozed out of the wounds, dripping onto the floor. "Y-Yuuki, you're bleeding profusely." Unconcerned by his wound, Yuuki responded, still smiling serenely, "Ah, that's true." Gai intervened with a look of concern. "Come on, we need to get that wound checked out-" Even though the cuts were incredibly deep, Yuuki was still slow to answer. "Hahaha….How embarrassing. I'm getting worse at this." Yuuki spoke these words without any concern for his body. "Th-This is-isn't a laughing matter! We n-need to take c-care of it right a-away!" Gai, now extremely worried, exclaimed, only to be rebuffed. "It's fine. It isn't life threatening or anything." "But we can't just leave it alone! Geez, cutting it like that, doesn't it hurt?!" Keeping that serene smile plastered upon his face, Yuuki ended the argument. "Nope. Just relax, I'm perfectly fine. If I think it doesn't hurt, then it won't hurt, right?" "..." Upon hearing these words, Gai sighed, as his train of thought set off. "What is up with you? How could someone be so nonchalant with such a grievous injury?" Several other possibilities for the reasons towards Yuuki's calmness in the face of such a serious wound ran through his mind quickly. "Yep, something's definitely not right in Yuuki's head...Tch. If I mention it to her, then she would probably go nuts." Deciding to keep quiet, as hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, Gai motioned to Yuuki, "Alright, where's Hizashi...?" At the mere mention of Hizashi's name, Yuuki's smile became more forced as his eyes glazed over. "Oh, that woman? You needn't worry. She's just doing an errand for Nika over in the Human World." Upon meeting the word 'woman', Yuuki's voice became more antagonistic, yet he kept that consistent serene smile upon his face. "H-Huh...? Yuuki, are you...?" Somewhat intimidated, Gai thought, "That smile...It's like the smile from the Angel of Death..." Attempting to calm Yuuki down before he started to rant, Gai asked; "Y-Yuuki, why are you here, exactly...?" "Ahaha, don't you remember?" Yuuki replied with a smile. "It's your birthday, Gai." Gai could not count all of his birthdays on his fingers alone. Being over five-thousand something years old, such events were trivial in his eyes. "So? I've had about a gazillion of those; it's not a big deal." Sighing, Yuuki responded, "But I haven't spent a single birthday with you in this life." Somewhat confused by the meaning of 'in this life', Gai queried, "In this life…? What do you mean, Yuuki?" Upon realizing his mistake, Yuuki became silent for a few moments, before shifting focus to a different subject. "…Ehehehe, whoops. Don't worry about that." "…Huh." Becoming suspicious, Gai swore to himself that he would find out what Yuuki meant. "…Tch. It can't hurt, but I still want to know where Hizashi—" Yuuki immediately cut Gai's demand off, "I told you before. She's doing an errand for Nika, so there's nothing to worry about." though his voice remained polite and quiet, it was complimented with an exasperated tone. "Hizashi, Hizashi, Hizashi. That's all it is. I hate that woman so much. Why can't she just disappear?" These negative thoughts raced through Yuuki's mind, and a cross shaped intersection of veins formed upon her forehead. "W-Why is there an anger and despair mark on your forehead, Yuuki…?" Growling slightly, Yuuki responded, "…Ah, there is? Don't worry about it, please. On a completely unrelated note, could you please refrain from mentioning that woman?" "U-Uh…I'll try." Gai sighed, unable to register the fact that Yuuki was clearly head-over-heels in love with him into his brain. "Why does she act like this? I don't get it." Slowly beginning to move away, throwing aside the sheets which concealed his body, Gai continued to cover his half-naked body with the pillow he was clutching, slowly walking towards the shower which was situated to the right. "…So, we're still going out—Er, I mean going to hang out or whatever you call it for a celebration?" Yuuki shouted across the hallway. Silently nodding, Gai responded, "U-Uh…yeah, sure, okay."
