So konnte er also nicht verhindern, dass Borgon seine Schwester nach Belieben nahm und mehrfach schwängerte, woraus der Grundstock für das Volk der Borgon-Dun entstand.

The project known as Operation: Bone Alloy jump-started his research and creation of what came to be known as KAR (Kathium Alloy Robotics). Using the brand new metal alloy that he spent five years creating, he was able to create a body that was not only well balanced, but fully capable of distributing its weight to where it could maintain a level of stealth that would be impossible for any other android before its time.

Dort verabreden sie, dass Kar Chakotay töten soll, sobald der Landetrupp der Kazon eingetroffen ist. Chakotay würde sofort auf die Voyager gebeamt und reanimiert werden und Kar hätte sich seinen Ogla-Namen erworben. Als die Kazon jedoch eintreffen, tötet Kar Razik, den Ersten Maje und ernennt Haliz zum neuen Ersten Maje und erwirbt sich somit seinen Ogla-Namen Jal Karden. (VOY: ) Kar wurde von Aron Eisenberg gespielt und von Clemens Elsner synchronisiert.

With this breakthrough came many future failures, but also a multitude of discoveries for Kathium and his team of robotic experts. After their tenth year of trial and error, they finally did it. With the creation of KAR 2014, they were able to construct the most advanced combat android that was not only human-like, but able to pull off the most complexed assassination maneuvers. The first confrontation that the Tiger-Stripe Pirates had with the KAR was during the very large incident on Fringe Island. Captain Rinji battled their larger, more physically powerful model of KAR, the 2099 unit. It was especially effective, and almost met Rinji with a killing blow were it not for Jiro, who completely destroyed the KAR-2099. The second encounter was during the Black Bone Tower Tournament. The KAR-3011: Blue Angel unit met against Runagai Chio in combat, and despite having the element of surprise and stealth, was not able to overcome his combat prowess. With the interference of Daro Daro Usagi, the 3011 unit attained too much damage to complete its mission, and was forced to flee for repairs.
